TweetMyPC 2.0 support remote PC via Twitter
Some time ago you’ll find an open source utility called TweetMyPC, which allows us to turn on or off a remote computer via Twitter. Now TweetMyPC version 2.0 launched recently will significantly expand its functionality with many new features.
Now, TweetMyPC can send the remote computer to hibernate or suspend, but can also take a screenshot of the display or show the list of running processes and if they want to finish any of them. We can also download a remote file, and whatever we do now the utility sends out a tweeter response to let us know if your command has worked as expected.
Another command allows us to lock the remote computer so nobody else can use it, and we can also obtain the IP from a computer or know how much RAM is available. Beyond these additions, an interesting detail of TweetMyPC 2.0 is that now we can also add commands, so you can tell the application to start a defrag, downloading a torrent or whatever you like.
