SourceEdit: Powerful Editor for Programmers
SourceEdit is a text editor with many powerful features, which will be highly valued by programmers of many languages. On the outside, and at first glance, this is a text editor that could even be confused with the complete Notepad++.
And indeed, as you begin to investigate and explore their menus SourceEdit, you realize that just like that, it is a very powerful editor, with support for more than a dozen programming languages, like C/C++, Java, ColdFusion, ASP or C#, among several others. So, just select the appropriate language, the publisher will offer support for this syntax used.
Since SourceEdit is extremely customizable, you can change the color of each label or operator, to name just a few components to adequately highlight the desired power and thus “read” your code more easily. You can also create a color scheme for each language, and how you can use up to four panels to view the files side by side, you can easily compare the interaction between a C++ code and a website created in HTML.
SourceEdit is freeware, and is only available for Windows operating systems.
