OCCT, CPU and Memory monitoring performance
We have spoken here on several occasions in MillionMark about tools to evaluate the performance of our system with tools like CPU-Z, CrystalMark, FreshDiagnose, or Larmark Crystal CPU ID, but today we present you an alternative, called OCCT.
OCCT (which stands for is Overclock Checking Tool), allows us to measure the CPU performance of your computer and its memory. Some features of OCCT are:
* Offers 3 different types of tests:
- CPU, which tries to squeeze the most of the CPU to assess their performance.
- RAM, to try to detect the maximum number of errors the memory PC.
- Mix or performing tests on the CPU and the RAM.
* Provides 3 modes of testing:
- Auto or performing a text-type mix for 1 hour.
- Custom (Infinite), enabling an infinite loop of the test to choose.
- Custom (set), choose the type of test and its duration.
* Provides integrated monitoring system information through the engine and CPU-Z HWmonitor.
* Supports external monitoring programs through plugins (Everest, Speedfan, etc)
* Provides charts showing temperature and voltages pc.
OCCT is free application, runs on Windows 98, Me, 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. It is available in portable version.
