Microsoft DreamSpark: Development tools for students and free

microsoft-dreamsparkMicrosoft DreamSpark is a project launched by the Redmond Company in early 2008, through which it is intended that students have access to development tools. Now the program expands and adds access to high school students from around the world.

However, unlike students, they can enter DreamSpark on your own, register and apply for the software, high school students need to ask your school authorities to make orders for them. Then you can login with their Live ID, and download applications.

Beyond this limitation, the idea is excellent, and enable thousands of students around the world have access to development tools from Microsoft earlier ages. Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition, SQL Server 2008, XNA Game Studio, Robotics Developer Studio or Virtual PC are just some of the applications and development kits included in Microsoft DreamSpark.
