JavaFX Mobile is Available Now
Sun has launched JavaFX SDK Mobile, the mobile version of its Java environment, with which you can access multimedia content from web applications, also known as Rich Internet Applications.
It has direct competitor to Silverlight, Flash or AJAX, JavaFX to reach a new dimension in the development of multimedia applications, something that its predecessor had failed to Java. But if Java has become the defining framework for cross-platform, and has generated a very large base of users that still remains to give advantage to their rivals.
JavaFX is dynamic to develop interfaces that integrate audio, video, graphics, text and animations, and development of these is significantly simplified with respect to previous versions of Java.
The only drawback is the compatibility for now reserved for mobile medium and high. LG has announced that all mobile phones will begin to be integrated distributed of JavaFX, and Sony Ericsson will do so in approximately 25% of its production.
