GSplit, split any file type
GSplit is a freeware application that will allow us to divide or starting any type of file that you indicate the size, which allows us to send as an attachment into smaller parts, or save it to CD.
At the time of splitting the files can customize to GSplit the maximum size we want, selecting from a dropdown list that will allow us to choose between some predefined options (10, 20, 50 MB and more) to others that depend on the type of environment that we using (CD, DVD, etc).
One aspect that I found very interesting is that by dividing GSplit files we generated the corresponding executable and also a very small (about 96 Kb) that allows us to assemble all the parts again without having the program installed, so we can send someone everything, and rest assured that you can see the file again in one piece.
In addition, GSplit (compatible with any version of Windows) is very efficient and can run even on computers a bit old because they do not need to place the file in memory that we have to partition, something that other similar products, if required.
