Google launches Google Sites API
Google has announced the launch of Google Sites Data API, tool of collaborative content creation. The API will be within the Google Labs, which aims to help users to move data to and from their services of Google Sites.
It is recalled that Google Sites is within the Google Apps-based component in cloud computing, so these APIs include tools to import and export data that users can, for example, users can now access wiki site content from Google Sites via the Google Data protocol.
The Google Sites Data API supports the vast majority of the functions the product offers in its original form, among which mention may be made to modify pages and content publishing information from other Google Apps to a site, or show a history of versions and changes made to a site.
It is clear that Google is looking to seduce the enterprises, but some reluctance to use Google Docs and similar services by having hosted web content, something that every drop helps reinforce Gmail.
