gears-in-firefox-35Google has released the official version of Gears for Firefox 3.5, making the case to numerous complaints from users of the large free browser, which had been left without navigation offline overnight.

Firefox 3.5 was released a couple of weeks ago, but with each new version compatibility issues often arise, and as we see this time was no exception.

To upgrade to the new version of Gears, you have to go to the Gears official site, where you can download or upgrade from your current installation of Firefox (Tools -> Add).
