Also, before making the change, our current configuration is stored and it is capable to restore, also with a single click, to leave well enough alone if Google DNS has convinced us.

google-public-dns-default-dns-settingsAll of you have to do is start Google DNS Helper and click on “Switch to Google DNS” to use Google DNS and click on “Restore DNS” to return to what we had before.

Google DNS Helper takes only 89KB and in addition, Google DNS Helper is a freeware and portable utility.
