Google Calendar Available in Offline Mode
Google Calendar is now available in offline mode, something we expect from last year, but has been delayed too much. Clear that with the arrival of the offline mode to Gmail already sensed the arrival of the next to the calendar, but for now is only available for users of Google Apps.
Logically based on Gears, Google’s platform for offline access to Web applications, this means that our three alternatives are: Firefox, IE (two each with the plugin is available) or through Chrome, which already includes it by default.
So if you install Gears if it does not mean you have Google Calendar offline mode right now, because if something does Google do with their launch is always going up “little by little, and so random.
Specifically what Google Calendar now offers offline access is read-only mode, i.e. it will display all your events or appointments but then not have a network connection, but cannot create or edit.
