GO Contact Sync, synchronizes Outlook and Google Contacts

Apr 2nd, 2009

go-contact-syncGO Contact Sync is a small utility to synchronize your contacts from Outlook and Google. We have seen in gContactSync in Google, Contacts iContact or other alternatives that are based on always offering the timing of our contacts across multiple applications and platforms.

Once you install and tell you your login data from Google, GO Contact Sync remains in the system tray. From there you can also start to tell the update interval, which in theory should not be more than one or two times a day.

Initially a two-way synchronization application, GO Contact Sync can however be configured to perform the task in different ways: total two-way, bidirectional, but with preference for contacts in Outlook, but with a preference for two-way contacts of Outlook, send from Outlook contacts or send to Google contacts into Outlook. Ideal for those who just wish to support online customer contacts desktop.

GO Contact Sync complexities will offer a “log” of all data sent in each transfer, as well as any problems you have found. It is a freeware utility, compatible with Windows operating systems.
