Gmail for iPhone and Android, offline enabled

gmailpostGoogle has updated its version of Gmail for iPhone and Android, with which mobile users expected to be one step closer to the experience of using the mail on the desktop. With developments such as support for offline mode and a floating bar.

This floating bar is located at the top of our inbox and offers quick access to certain functions such as archive mail, delete or mark messages as read or unread. This is, so no longer have to check email and go to the top of it to choose those options, but we will always at hand thanks to the floating bar.

Another important development is the support for offline mode, which comes with the standard version for some time. With the addition of Gears and HTML5, not only can work offline or where the connection quality is not adequate, but that may soon get new and better features (which have not yet been specified).

To begin using the new version of Gmail for Mobile, users must have iPhone or iPod with the latest official version available, 2.2.1. As for the Android phones are all supported, and currently the only language to be offered this update is the English.
