DVDSmith Movie Backup, Copy and Protect
DVDSmith Movie Backup is an application that allows you to backup your DVD disc, so you can take to guard your computer, so you can watch movies without the DVD disc.
DVDSmith Movie Backup is an excellent demonstration of what should be an application to comply with the premise KISS: the interface has only five buttons in total and only two fields in which to enter information for a route to the DVD you want to record and one for the destination folder.
Then we can choose to backup a “Full Disc“, which we recorded all the menus and extra content that usually accompany each film. Or we can choose to “Main Movie“, which will select the most important, the film, so we will not have our backup with the usual VIDEO_TS folders and file .vob.
DVDSmith Movie Backup is very comprehensive, and on the website claim that the application can overcome any copyright protection scheme, so theoretically you should not have problems to keep all your original films.
