Docstoc, Sync Documents Online
Docstoc is a social network of documents, a YouTube for documents, and several things depending on who opine. We will display it for over a year, but now it is news again because it automatically synchronizes your documents on your server.
This feature, called Docstoc MySync, it allows you to synchronize your documents from your computer to Docstoc from mydocs. The feature works by downloading a small application, and operate on your default folder “My Documents” location you can change to taste, or add others.
Once you have your documents online, it’s time to Docstoc mydocs for action. This is an application that offers a simple and fast for your documents, using thumbnail view and an efficient way of preview, which lets you open documents of any size and format in just a second.
Basically, available for Windows users, there are also possibilities for Mac users, through plugins developed by third parties. For soon, at Docstoc plan include bidirectional synchronization, so that when you edit a document online that is updated on your computer.
Yesterday we learned that Microsoft Office Live Workspace has 1 million users, earlier today we saw Zoho Docs, and now this. Clearly the market for office suites and online continues to grow strong, and competitors need to work increasingly excel.
