DocShots, Share documents Using Pop-up or Preview
DocStoc, a storage service which we have spoken a couple of times here in MillionMark, has launched a new tool called DocShots, and to share documents on the site. And without even having to go to another page, but simply through the preview document when the mouse pointer over a link.
Great and quick DocShots works well, and users can even view a list of related documents, also published by the same user who uploaded the document you are viewing.
Although useful for many, not all will see the grace to be installed as a DocShots service, as used in excess can overwhelm a website too, and again slow and tedious to visit. Clearly, something that sometimes happens on some blogs I visit, full of snap links. And if we think that here is not even a thumbnail view, but an entire document that appears on screen, things are more complicated.
However, those wishing to add a document to expand and keep visitors on your site you can look at DocShots which only requires copying and pasting some code into your blog in order to begin using it immediately.
