Adobe Flash Catalyst, new user interfaces for rapidly
Flash Catalyst has been presented by Adobe, with the pompous promise to reinvent the way they create user interfaces (UI). Perhaps not for much, but it is true that the possibility of using Illustrator and Photoshop to create the SWF interface will be very interesting.
This solves a longstanding problem with the Flash platform, which it was not as fluid development and communication between designers and developers. Now, through drag & drop, it can accommodate components for creating an interface and add operations (for example, for the rest the mouse pointer over a section we get a notice or notification).
Then will come the turn of the switch to Flash Builder 4, where you can add connectivity to databases and web services. Flash Builder is incidentally, the new name that is called Flex Builder, and so this application “premieres” in version 4.
Adobe Flash Catalyst Coming back to the application-in-beta can be downloaded and tested during 30 days, but you have serial numbers (key developers) to continue testing it for a little more time.
